How to Measure and Check the Fit
| Category | Instructions |
|---|---|
| Helmet Head Circumference | Wrap the tape from the middle of the forehead above the ears and around the back of the head. |
| Helmet Fit | The helmet should fit firmly and evenly without painful pressure points. |
| Ski / Snowboard Goggles | The foam should seal evenly against the face. There should be no uncomfortable gap between helmet and goggles. |
| MTB Goggles | SHRED. MTB goggles are sized by suggested helmet and head-circumference ranges. |
| Back Protector | Measure from shoulder to hip bone. When unsure, SHRED. usually recommends sizing down so the protector does not press into the neck. |
| Gloves | Measure hand circumference and hand length. Gloves should fit closely without restricting fingers or circulation. |
| Knee / Elbow Pads | Measure directly on the body without thick clothing. The protector should sit close and centred. |
