How to Measure and Check the Fit

Category Instructions
Helmet Head Circumference Wrap the tape from the middle of the forehead above the ears and around the back of the head.
Helmet Fit The helmet should fit firmly and evenly without painful pressure points.
Ski / Snowboard Goggles The foam should seal evenly against the face. There should be no uncomfortable gap between helmet and goggles.
MTB Goggles SHRED. MTB goggles are sized by suggested helmet and head-circumference ranges.
Back Protector Measure from shoulder to hip bone. When unsure, SHRED. usually recommends sizing down so the protector does not press into the neck.
Gloves Measure hand circumference and hand length. Gloves should fit closely without restricting fingers or circulation.
Knee / Elbow Pads Measure directly on the body without thick clothing. The protector should sit close and centred.
