The Zebru baselayer gives you exactly as much warmth as you need during intense activity in cold weather conditions and helps you regulate your body temperature. Made with 64% merino wool, this T-shirt wicks away moisture, dries quickly and improves thermoregulation.
Advanced infrared material technology
The T-shirt is inspired by a mountain in the Ortler Alps, Monte Zebrù (3735 m). It is made in Italy and the main ingredient in its material is fine merino wool, which provides optimal thermal performance and moisture wicking and feels comfortable against the skin. We have also supplemented the merino wool-polyfibre blend with the special Responsive Polyamide yarns, which contain a unique blend of natural thermo-reactive minerals. Responsive absorbs the body's far infrared radiation (FIR) and gradually releases it back into muscle tissue – in a similar way to a south-facing rock face that stores and releases solar energy. The improved thermoregulation increases well-being and blood circulation during activity. Cell performance and oxygenation are also improved, so you stay warm longer. Responsive technology is a permanent component of the material and does not wash out.
The Zebru is soft on the skin, has a sporty cut and has a body mapping design. The polyamide yarns increase the lifespan and durability of the t-shirt and ensure that it retains its snug shape. The upper body is made of one piece in an advanced circular knitting process - for more comfort without rubbing seams. In addition, merino wool is naturally odor-resistant.
