The Puez 2 Knit Powertex shoe stands for a smooth rolling behavior and a high level of comfort. This means that the trekking shoe for women scores on short as well as long mountain hikes and trekking activities in rough terrain and also on exploration tours in an urban environment. The abrasion-resistant, knitted nylon upper is reinforced with a toe cap and a circumferential, protective rubber edge. Meanwhile, the processed PFC-free, waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane ensures reliable weather protection, while the midsole made of our Alpine hemp ensures sustainable, innovative production.

Natural cycle & sustainability
In the front foot area, the midsole is made of our Alpine hemp material, which is characterized by a particularly sustainable production that combines recycled hemp waste with new hemp. This allows us to reduce the use of EVA, save resources and offer a sustainable alternative – without sacrificing performance and functionality. The same concept is used in our sustainable laces, which are made from a combination of our Alpine Hemp material with recycled polyester.

Permanent wearing comfort
The special trekking profile, the two-part EVA midsole with varying intensity stiffness and soft heel cushioning, as well as the soft, recycled and customizable CFF footbed, together with the included Volume Reducer insole, ensure a high level of comfort and an individual fit.

Innovative, technical solutions
The Puez 2 Knit Mid Powertex trekking shoe is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole, which gives ideal grip and traction in technical terrain. The special feature of the sole, however, is the new Salewa Edging Plate II: a special, thermoplastic insole plate that extends over the entire length of the shoe. Thanks to the Edging Plate II, the shoe offers a high degree of flexibility and cushioning for long-lasting comfort while maintaining high stiffness and stability in the forefoot and heel area. This creates an ideal combination of flexibility and support.
Likewise, our proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® cords further increases stability at the ankles and in the midfoot: The patented system connects the lacing system, sole and heel and thus guarantees a secure hold with the same flexibility. The climbing-lacing system also allows for precise lacing in the toe area for an even more precise fit, more support and ideal adjustment.
