Strong and lightweight: The Ortles HMS S Carabiner is made of high-strength aluminum and comes in a compact size that fits well in the hand and still offers maximum space for multiple knots in multi-pitch climbing.
Thanks to its special design, the locking carabiner has a larger contact surface for the rope: on the one hand for a long service life, and on the other hand for optimal, smooth belaying. At the same time, the gate can be opened as wide as possible, thus guaranteeing ideal rope handling.
The high-quality, spring-loaded gate closure closes securely, while the extremely fast screw cap is extremely precise, solid and comfortable to work with.
In addition, the narrow, tapered Keylock nose prevents the carabiner from getting caught on slings, rope or hooks when hooking in and out.
