The Ortles GORE-TEX® Pro Jacket is a high-end alpine hardshell that combines waterproof and extremely breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX® Pro. The body-hugging design comes with an ergonomically shaped, helmet-compatible storm hood that gives you an extended field of vision and features a rear gusset that ensures a precise fit even when you're not wearing a helmet. We've included a number of pockets specifically designed for mountain activities, including two large, high-set chest pockets that are easy to reach even under a harness, and an inner stretch mesh pocket for spare gloves, as well as deep side zippers that provide good ventilation. A soft, comfortable chin guard made of neoprene fabric is attached to the chin, which is very useful on colder days. A completely waterproof, technical bulwark for winter and alpine climbing in the toughest conditions.
