This classic, timeless yet highly functional waterproof jacket is made of a hybrid combination of materials and impresses with its particularly high-quality workmanship.
The legendary Fanes Group in the northwestern Dolomites combines Ladin culture, a picturesque plateau and striking, wild Dolomite peaks - our Fanes Hemp Powertex 3L Jacket is named after exactly this mountain group. The main material uses our Powertex-cotton-hemp® mix (65 percent cotton, 35 percent hemp), which protects against adverse weather conditions thanks to its three-layer laminate construction. The water column of 20,000 millimeters and the fully taped seams reliably keep water out. The water column describes the pressure that is needed until water can penetrate through the fabric. Nevertheless, the three-layer jacket scores with a high breathability as well as a pleasant feel thanks to the cotton-hemp surface.
The Fanes Hemp Powertex 3L Jacket comes with a variety of well thought-out features: The hood is adjustable, the button placket with press studs in the front allows additional ventilation options. In addition, the width of the sleeve cuffs can be adjusted via press studs and small items can be stowed either in the two side pockets with zipper or the Durastretch softshell inner pocket.
As part of the Salewa Committed collection, the jacket meets our strict environmental and social standards and is equipped with a PFC-free, durable water repellent (DWR) impregnation.
