Salewa Alpinist Walk - black/yellow

You have to make it to the top to be able to go back down. In winter, the "Dolomiti" are a real vertical playground. Salewa Alpinist Walk is a versatile, robust stainless steel strap-on crampon for technical ice climbing, mixed routes and mountaineering. Its 3D carbon steel frame construction features a strong, lightweight design, as well as a soft-binding front cup that allows it to be attached to boots without a toe or heel edge. The horizontal frontal spikes provide reliable grip and load transfer on steep ice and horizontal rock edges. They also enable efficient forward movement with ergonomic rolling. The overall geometry and semi-aggressive, secondary prongs provide better grip on ice and snow. The additional spikes in the midfoot area provide extra safety on icy ridges. In addition to the strong and lightweight (795 grams) design, this universal crampon stands out with its unique, length-adjustable straps - no more loose ends! This important innovation drastically reduces the risk of tripping. The curved, studded anti-toll plates cover the entire underside and thus minimise the clumping of snow. And because this crampon doesn't require any tools, it's easy to adjust on the go.
