Salewa Alpinist Combi - black/yellow

Val Venosta, Val Pusteria or Sella, Vallunga or Sottoguda: the Dolomites are a vertical winter playground ... Salewa Alpinist Combi is a versatile, robust, hybrid stainless steel crampon for technical ice climbing, mixed routes and mountaineering.

Its 3D carbon steel frame construction features a strong, lightweight clip design, as well as a cup at the front that allows it to be attached to boots without a toe rim. The horizontal frontal spikes provide reliable support and load transfer on steep waterfall ice and horizontal rock edges. The overall geometry and semi-aggressive, secondary prongs provide better grip on ice and snow. The additional spikes in the midfoot area provide extra safety on icy ridges.

In addition to the strong and lightweight design, this semi-automatic crampon stands out with its unique, length-adjustable straps – no more loose ends. They drastically reduce the risk of tripping. The curved, studded anti-toll plates cover the entire underside and thus minimise the clumping of snow. The flat heel bar guarantees an optimal fit and the precise adjustment dial can be easily operated even with gloves. This crampon requires no tools and can be adjusted quickly and easily on the go.
