The Elevation WP solved a clear need from our athletes: A shoe that is comfortable & light enough to run fast but still provide protection & comfort with crampons during speedy glaciers traverses.
The Dynafit Elevation WP is a revolutionary mountaineering shoe that combines the lightness and agility of a running shoe with the technical features of mountaineering footwear. Its design allows for greater agility and speed when tackling challenging terrain, while its lightweight construction ensures that your feet remain comfortable during long, strenuous speed ascents.
It features an internal, high comfort shoe, protected by waterproof membrane up the the lower leg. It’s made with a durable and resistant material that will protect you against rocks, snow but also crampon cord friction. It has an easy step in with instant comfort that last during the run/hike while providing just enough insulation for speedy traverses with crampons. Its extra padded tongue protects your feet from any pains related the crampons.
A full-length PEBAX plate provides stability and features a semi automatic crampon insert. On the other hand, the running inspired midsole allows a smooth and comfortable running flow during your descents.
The Elevation WP solve problem to take 2 pairs of shoes when doing village – summit – village (ie one running shoe & one hiking boot).
