Crankbrothers Size Chart

Shoe Fit
| Feature | Manufacturer guidance |
|---|---|
| Fit | Unisex fit |
| General sizing | Current Crankbrothers product pages describe the shoes as true to size |
| Wider feet | Crankbrothers recommends going up half a size |
| Clip-in models | Mallet, Mallet Trail and Candy use the Crankbrothers Match System and are compatible with 2-bolt MTB clip-in systems |
| Flat models | Stamp shoes are optimized for the contact surface of Stamp flat pedals |
Stamp 0 – Pedal Size by Shoe Size
| Pedal size | Recommended EU shoe size | US Men | Platform | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | up to approx. EU 43 / manufacturer range 37–43.5 | 3–10 | 102 × 101 mm | Manufacturer FAQ recommends Small through EU 43 |
| Large | from EU 43.5 / manufacturer range 43.5–49 | 10–15 | 116 × 112 mm | Manufacturer FAQ recommends Large from EU 43.5 |
Stamp 0 source note: The current EU product page lists Small as EU 37–43.5 in the feature copy, while the technical specification block shows EU 35 as the lower boundary. The current manufacturer FAQ gives the clearest practical crossover: Small through EU 43 and Large from EU 43.5. That crossover is the most useful value for selecting the size.
Stamp 1 Gen 2 – Pedal Size by Shoe Size
| Pedal size | Recommended EU shoe size | US Men | Platform | Weight per pair |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 37–43.5 | 3–10 | 100 × 100 mm | 321 g |
| Large | 43.5–49 | 10–15 | 114 × 111 mm | 348 g |
Stamp 7 – Pedal Size by Shoe Size
| Pedal size | Recommended EU shoe size | US Men | Platform | Weight per pair |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 37–43 | 5–10 | 100 × 100 mm | 345 g |
| Large | 43–49 | 10–15 | 114 × 111 mm | 375 g |
Stamp 11 – Pedal Size by Shoe Size
| Pedal size | Recommended EU shoe size | US Men | Platform | Weight per pair |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 37–43 | 5–10 | 100 × 100 mm | 299 g |
| Large | 43–49 | 10–15 | 114 × 111 mm | 325 g |
Important for Stamp pedals: The Small/Large boundary varies by model. Newer Stamp 0 and Stamp 1 Gen 2 models use slightly different recommendations from Stamp 7 and Stamp 11. Always use the chart for the exact pedal model.
Clip-In Pedals – Technical Sizes
| Model | Body / platform dimensions | Spindle length / Q-factor | Size selection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mallet Trail | 78 × 74 mm | 57 mm | No Small/Large sizing |
| Mallet Enduro / Mallet E | 94 × 75 mm | 57 mm | No Small/Large sizing |
| Candy 1 | 67 × 74 mm | 52 mm | No Small/Large sizing |
| Double Shot 1 | Flat side 94 × 76 mm | 57 mm | No Small/Large sizing |
Clip-in pedals: Mallet, Candy and Double Shot are not selected as Small or Large according to shoe size. Pedal type, platform, spindle length and the correct Crankbrothers cleat / shoe interface are the relevant factors. Crankbrothers states that unapproved third-party cleats can negatively affect function and pedal lifespan.
How to Measure Foot Length
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a straight wall.
- Mark the tip of the longest toe.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in millimetres.
- Measure both feet and use the longer measurement.
- For wider feet, Crankbrothers recommends going up half a size on current shoe models.
Safety notice: Pedals and cleats are safety-relevant bicycle components. Before every ride, check mounting, bolts, pins, cleats and bearings. Practise clipping in and out in a safe environment before using clip-in pedals in technical terrain. Installation and torque specifications for the exact Crankbrothers product always take priority.
