Coocazoo Size Chart
Coocazoo school backpacks do not use a traditional clothing size. Body height, backpack back length, capacity and external dimensions are the relevant sizing factors. The following information is based on the current official Coocazoo model comparison and ergonomics guidance.
School Backpacks – Official Model Comparison
| Model | Body height | EASY GROW | Back length | External dimensions | Capacity | Weight | Compartments |

| BYTE | approx. 135–180 cm | Yes | 46 cm | 46 × 29 × 21 cm | 28 L | approx. 1,270 g | 3 |
| EVERY | from approx. 135 cm according to manufacturer FAQ | No / Ergonomic Back System | 44 cm | 44 × 30 × 23 cm | 30 L | approx. 1,000 g | 3 |
EASY GROW SYSTEM: According to Coocazoo, MATE, PORTER and BYTE can be continuously adjusted to body height and grow with the wearer from approximately 135 cm to 180 cm. EVERY does not use EASY GROW; it uses an Ergonomic Back System with an Air-Mesh padded back.
Which Model Should You Choose?
| Model | Typical choice | Key feature |
|---|---|---|
| MATE | All-round school backpack | 30 L / balanced combination of capacity and weight |
| PORTER | For lots of school equipment and long school days | 35 L / largest capacity of the four current models |
| BYTE | For digital school use | 28 L / multifunction compartment for laptop, tablet and accessories |
| EVERY | For minimum empty weight | approx. 1,000 g / lightest current model |
How to Adjust the Backpack
- For MATE, PORTER and BYTE, first set the EASY GROW SYSTEM to the wearer's body height.
- Tighten the shoulder straps so the backpack sits close and evenly against the back.
- Fasten and adjust the sternum strap to a comfortable height.
- Use the hip belt so part of the load is transferred to the pelvis.
- Pack heavy books and folders close to the back and lighter items farther forward.
For younger children: Coocazoo states that the current models are generally suitable from approximately 1.35 m body height. For first-grade pupils, the manufacturer recommends a school bag specifically designed for the stature and needs of primary-school children.

Older products: Earlier Coocazoo collections included models such as JOKER. The current official comparison lists MATE, PORTER, BYTE and EVERY. For older products, always use the product-specific specifications for that model year.
Safety and ergonomics: Adjust the backpack correctly to body height and avoid unnecessary overloading. Do not cover reflective elements. Use additional visibility aids in poor light. A poorly adjusted or excessively heavy school backpack can significantly reduce carrying comfort.
