Brooks England Size Chart
Brooks England backpacks, bike bags and saddles do not use a traditional body size chart. For bags, capacity and product dimensions are the key sizing factors; for saddles, width, length and intended riding position are more relevant. The following overview is based primarily on current official Brooks England product information.
Pickwick Backpacks – Size Overview
| Model / version | Size | Capacity | Dimensions | Weight | Source status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pickwick Cotton Canvas | 12 L | 12 L | Height 41–47 cm / depth 12 cm / width 26 cm | 790 g | Official Brooks England specification |
| Pickwick Leather | 12 L | 12 L | Height 41–47 cm / depth 12 cm / width 26 cm | 1,200 g | Official Brooks England specification |
| Pickwick Reflective Leather | 12 L | 12 L | Height 41–47 cm / depth 12 cm / width 26 cm | 1,020 g | Official Brooks England specification |
| Pickwick Cotton Canvas | 26 L | 26 L | approx. 31 × 15 × 55 cm | 980 g | 26 L officially offered; dimensions supplemented from a current specialist retailer listing |
Pickwick 26 L note: Brooks England currently offers Pickwick Cotton Canvas and Pickwick Leather in both 12 L and 26 L. However, the statically readable specification block on the current manufacturer page displays only the 12 L dimensions. The 31 × 15 × 55 cm value is therefore taken as supplementary information from a current specialist retailer listing for the Pickwick Cotton Canvas 26 L and is not applied to every 26 L material version.

| Scape Seat Bag | 8–10 L | H 180 × D 140 × W 400–600 mm | 3 kg | 500 g | Mud Green manufacturer page; roll closure changes usable volume |
| Scape Handlebar Pouch | 3 L | H 120 × D 120 × W 250 mm | 3 kg | 140 g | Compact handlebar bag |
| Scape Handlebar Roll | 9–11 L | H 160 × D 160 × W 350–400 mm | 5 kg | 670 g | Current official capacity specification |
| Scape Large Pannier | 18–22 L | H 400–600 × D 160 × W 320 mm | 9 kg | 760 g | Rear-rack pannier |
Scape Handlebar Roll discrepancy: The current FuW brand page still describes this model as 10–12 L. Brooks England currently specifies 9–11 L on the manufacturer page, so the current manufacturer figure is used in this chart.
Other Bags Currently Listed at FuW
| Model | Capacity | Size note | Source status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barbican Canvas Shoulder Bag | 13 L | No current official Brooks product page with clearly documented dimensions was found | Capacity from the current FuW product assortment |
Saddles – Technical Size Guide
Brooks England does not size saddles by body height. Saddle width and riding position or torso angle are more important. The following chart shows current manufacturer dimensions for selected core models.
| Model | Length | Width | Height | Use / riding position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| C15 Cambium | 283 mm | 140 mm | 52 mm | Gravel / road / fast touring / more forward riding position |
| C17 Cambium | 283 mm | 164 mm | 52 mm | All-round / touring / commuting |
| C19 Carved Cambium | 275 mm | 184 mm | 57 mm | Wider profile for more upright city and touring positions |
| C67 Cambium | 268 mm | 200 mm | 59 mm | Very upright city, e-bike and comfort riding position |
| B17 Leather | 275 mm | 175 mm | 65 mm | Brooks states approx. 45–60° riding / spinal angle as a suitable range |
| B67 Leather | 260 mm | 205 mm | 73 mm | Sprung / upright city and touring position |
| B66 Leather | 260 mm | 205 mm | 100 mm | Sprung / upright position; double-rail system |
Choosing a saddle: A wider saddle is not automatically intended for a larger person. Brooks differentiates primarily by riding style and riding position. In a more upright position, more load is typically carried farther back on the saddle, making wider models more relevant. Individual fit still varies.
Compatibility and Safety
- Before buying a bike bag, compare the available frame, handlebar or rack space with the product dimensions.
- Do not exceed the stated maximum load for the individual bag.
- For saddle bags, check that the saddle has suitable bag loops or mounting points.
- For the Scape Handlebar Compact Bag, Brooks explicitly states that it must not be used with carbon handlebars.
- For saddles, check rail and seatpost compatibility; double-rail models may require a suitable adapter.
