How to Choose the Correct Rainwear Size

  • Jackets: Basil states that chest circumference is the most important measurement.
  • Rain pants: Hip circumference is the most important measurement; then check the inside-leg length.
  • Wear lightweight clothing while measuring and take every body measurement at least twice.
  • For the intended cycling fit, pull the rain pants up to the navel.

Bicycle Bags and Baskets – Technical Size Examples

For Basil accessories, S, M, L, XL and One Size do not form a standard body-size scale. Products carrying the same label such as L can have very different dimensions. The specific dimensions and volume of each model are therefore the relevant size information.

Model Basil size Volume Dimensions L / W / H Load capacity
Manhattan Office Bag L 12 L 12 × 38 × 30 cm max. 10 kg
Move Commuter MIK Studs L 15 L 14 × 24 × 34 cm max. 10 kg
Miles Bicycle Daypack L 17 L 14.5 × 28.5 × 38.5 cm max. 5 kg
Ever-Green Bicycle Daypack L 14 L 14 × 27 × 45 cm max. 5 kg
Sport Design Top Tube Frame Bag Double M L 1.5 L 2.5 × 17.5 × 9.5 cm max. 2.5 kg

Cento Neo WSL One Size 21 L 46.9 × 23.7 × 14.1 cm max. 10 kg
Important for accessories: Basil size L is a model-specific product classification and must not be interpreted like a clothing size. For bags, baskets and backpacks, always check the exact dimensions, volume, load capacity and mounting system of the individual model.
